Rockland Community Prayer Garden

Through the ages, the Almighty God has moved His people to build Houses of Prayer
and Praise, and to set apart sacred places for the ministry of His Holy Word and
Sacraments. With gratitude for the building of the Rockland Community Prayer Garden,
we have gathered to consecrate and dedicate it in the Almighty God’s Name of the

Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Rev. Dr. Vince McLaughlin

The Prayer Garden will be a true monument to God that will be shared by our church and the surrounding community to provide a place for prayer, peace, meditation, and even a place to receive Baptism. The Garden will be open to the public and to all churches. This Prayer Garden will be built on donations only. There are many opportunities for you to become involved and to help build what will surely be a magnificent and sanctified place of beauty. Your giving opportunities are as follows:

  • Corner Gardens to surround the center of the Cross
  • Concrete planters to accent the benches
  • Stations of the Cross
  • (Two) Benches
  • Memorial Bricks
  • General Donations for the Kiosk*
  • And Garden maintenance

Generously Donated: 40×8 pond & all materials; marble Statue of Christ; four benches, four dogwood trees and Several Stations of the Cross; *we have reached out to the BSA to inquire if a young man is ready to earn his Eagle Scout Badge by building our Kiosk
